The Begining

Here are pictures of Crescent's founders William Brown and Benjamin Ryland.

The Fall of 1889 William Brown started selling merchandise out of his wagon, soon he and his business partner Benjamin Ryland built and moved into a log cabin which later christened into the first post office in what was originally called " Crescent City" which was located off of Broadway. These pictures of Brown and Ryland are in there Masonic clothing they were both members of Crescent Masonic Lodge #11.

Crescent Main Street located on Broadway. Broadway was The first Main Street from 1889-1905.
